01 · Night close from paper

The closer photographs the Z. Gross, card, cash, tax land in Books.

Someone types five numbers from a paper tape at 11:40pm. Wrong year. Wrong till. The drawer never matches.

On Floor they pick Daily report. Floor reads the tape or the Clover screen. You check the card. Confirm. That night is closed.

02 · Bills become stock

Vendor invoice in the thread. Confirm. Cost, SRP, and the vault update.

The PSM tape sits in a drawer. Cost never hits Product OS. You still guess the sell price.

Staff post the bill on Floor. Floor reads vendor, lines, total, pay. You confirm. Vendor hub, bill vault, and Product OS get the same truth.

Cash, card, check, or mixed. Half cash / half card is a real store. Floor records it that way.

03 · Three confirms, then auto

Floor learns this store’s paper. Then the night posts itself.

Every app wants you to type forever. Employees will not. Owners will not.

You confirm a few nights by hand. Floor learns which photo is the Z and which is a bill. After that, a photo on Floor is enough — you only step in when a number looks wrong.

What’s Out on Floor

04 · What’s Out + vendor day

Empty shelf is a list. Rep day is on the calendar before they walk in.

Lipton Friday for Monday. PSM Monday for Tuesday. You remember at 9:12am when the rep is already in the door.

What’s Out is the order. Calendar is the reminder. Floor drops a task the day before so the shift is ready.

Set the route once. Weekly, biweekly, delivery offset. Floor reminds the people who actually count the cooler.

05 · Gmail and POS files

Connect the store inbox. Night photos and sales files land on Floor.

Corey emails two screenshots. POS Cloud emails a CSV. You hunt the inbox at midnight.

Store Gmail is its own connection — not a staff login. Floor opens the thread. You read as report, bill, or list. POS files stay in the vault. Push to Books when the file is the night, not a leftover month.

06 · Intelligence is owner-only

Staff work the aisle. You see P&L, mix, and the next 15 days.

Employees should not see profit. Owners should not guess from a WhatsApp photo.

Intelligence reads Books for this store. Sales, purchases, labor, thin vs thick mix. Decisions post to Floor as work — not as a lecture about margin.

Employees never open Intelligence. They get the task. You keep the brain.
