Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to trek in Nepal?

The main seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (late September–November), when skies are clearest and mountain views are at their best. Winter treks are possible on lower routes, and Chitwan safaris are excellent from October to March.

Do I need permits, and are they included?

Yes — national park and conservation permits are required on most routes. Every price on this page includes all permits for that trip; we arrange them before you arrive so there is no paperwork on the trail.

How fit do I need to be for Everest Base Camp?

You should be comfortable walking 5–7 hours a day on uneven trails for consecutive days. You do not need technical climbing experience. We build in two acclimatisation days, and our guides set a steady, safe pace.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 7 days before departure for a full refund of your deposit. Inside 7 days we offer a free date change, or a refund minus any non-recoverable permit and flight costs.

Can you customise a trip for our group?

Absolutely — private and custom trips are our specialty. Tell us your dates, group size and interests in the enquiry form and we will design a route around you, from honeymoon escapes to school expeditions.
