Aurelia Peak Lodge on the shore of a still alpine lake, beneath towering snow-dusted peaks

Lakeside · Alpine Valley

Where the mountains come down to the water

A family-run lodge on the lake shore since 1962 — 48 rooms, a chef-led dining room, a spa and an infinity pool, all facing the peaks.

Three generations of quiet hospitality

Aurelia Peak began as a six-room guesthouse built by the Hartley family in 1962. Today it is a 48-room lodge, but the idea has not changed: generous breakfasts, honest rooms, and a front desk that knows every trail, boat and bakery within twenty miles.

Wake to mist on the lake, spend the day on the water or the ridgeline, and end it in the hot pool as the peaks turn gold.

“We watched the sun set over the lake from the pool, then ate the best trout of our lives twenty steps away. The Panorama Suite is worth every penny.”

“Booked for one night, stayed for four. Staff remembered our names, our coffee order, and which trail my kids could manage. Rare these days.”
